Biker Gang|main5|dl1|sec1_lnk1%26pLid%3D1183796633

Two hundred rival bikers from five different gangs had a meeting at a shopping center in Waco, Texas.  Not surprising, it broke out into a fight, and then a gunfight.  Nine people were killed and 17 others sent to hospitals.  Several of those shot were shot by police.

The police were at the shopping center because they were warned of the meeting beforehand.  They had about a dozen local cops there and some state police as well.  Once the shooting started they called numerous other local agencies and the ATF.

Despite the good press the media seems to want to give to outlaw biker gangs, biker gangs are gangs.  They are on-going criminal enterprises formed and continued to perform criminal acts.  Those acts typically include drug distribution and crimes of violence, against other biker gangs and against police.  Be careful; that's what the SGT Says.
