Use of Force

This just happened in East New York Bklyn

In a free society we should be able to video the police, but we should be required to stay back at least 25 feet and we should not be allowed to do it in the roadway or other place we don't belong.  There should be a law that prevents people from getting too close to police in the performance of their duty.

Those two cops were lucky the spectators did not jump in on the suspects side.  It seemed like a contact Tazer strike would have been a good idea when he refused to go down.  This suspect was resisting and the officers were having a hard time taking him down.

Even once he was down on the ground the officers were having trouble getting him under control.  A grown man who does not want to go to jail is difficult to control unless you are willing and able to apply significant force to him.  Sometimes even then; that's what the SGT Says.
