Two police sergeants are flagged down by a man who says a homeless guy is throwing bottles into the street.  They contact the man and he attacks them.  One of the officers is knocked down and the suspect beat him and took the officers gun.

The second officer shot the suspect two times, the suspect was dead at the scene.  Sometimes a routine call can seem like it's nothing, but it can quickly get out of hand.  Never pre-judge a call as easy, or simple, or safe.  Your are never really safe until you are home, in your easy chair, with your dog and slippers.

When you get out of the car, take your baton.  When you leave the station, take your Taser.  Don't forget your OC spray.  When dealing with suspects, keep your distance, and watch his hands.  Keep your guard up and keep your gun side away from the suspect, that's what the SGT Says.
